Why is charcoal in capsule form and not in tablet form?

Bioptimal offer only dietary supplements in vegetable capsules, free of additives. Choosing to make their supplements into tablets would have required the addition of additives, such as silicon dioxide or other binding agents. Only cyanobacteria like spirulina or microalgae like chlorella can be cold-pressed without additives. Furthermore, the vegetable capsule has the advantage of acting as an initial barrier against stomach acid, allowing for better absorption of the plant's properties. This vegetable capsule also helps reduce blood sugar and cholesterol levels at doses as low as 5g per day.
